Since taking over Alkincoates Park, we have had a professional assessment completed to give us a review of the stability and well-being of trees within Alkincoates.
From the assessment, we have been informed that work is now required which will result in the loss of 3 trees. One tree will be removed due to instability and the remaining two will be removed due to disease. This will be in the addition to essential tree maintenance within the park.
In addition to this, we want to reassure that Colne Town Council wants to conserve as many trees as we possibly can and trees will only be felled if they are unfortunately dying or are deemed as dangerous.
