CHRISTMAS LIGHTS

Colne Town Council manages the festive Christmas Lights which hang around the town upon November/December. The lights were previously managed by Pendle Borough Council but due to other financial responsibilities Pendle Borough Council could no longer afford to manage the Christmas Lights in Colne. Therefore, the service was passed over to Colne Town Council to manage which they have done for a number of years. The lights have recently been replaced and upgraded to LED lights which are a lot more efficient and are longer lasting.
