Councillor Mary Thomas ~ “The absence of a physical event, of course, will disappoint many, but our online event will enable Colners from around the world to feel part of Colne’s Remembrance Sunday for the first time, no matter where they are. Our virtual commemoration will remain online for those who cannot join us at the appointed time, too.”
We are respectably asking that people do not attend the town’s War Memorial on Remembrance Sunday.
