Pendle Borough Council is asking for help in identifying land for development, as Colne has to find sites for an additional 511 homes during the next fifteen years under its Core Strategy.
Pendle Council is currently preparing the second part of its new Local Plan which will identify and allocate land for development. Pendle is therefore seeking suggestions for sites that are considered suitable for new housing, employment or other types of development. Colne Town Council is getting involved, as part of its emerging Neighbourhood Plan. The next meeting of the Neighbourhood Plan Working Group is on Wednesday, 22nd March at 7 p.m. in Colne Town Hall and the public is welcome.
Pendle Borough Council is running a six-week consultation until Friday, 7th April.
