COLNE Town Council is hosting its second Summer Food and Music Festival this Saturday, 10th June. The town centre will have a road closure in place all day on Market Street, so people can wander freely among the mainly artisan and street food stalls and soak up a varied musical vibe.
The Town Council’s Events Manager, Naomi Crewe said: “We have attracted a great mix of stalls, with new ones alongside old favourites, including: Slaters Ice Cream, Coffee Cube, Catania Couture, Dough Ball Pizza Ltd, All About Pies, Venture Photography, Kick-Ass Cheese, Fudge Factory, The Great British Rhythm & Blues, FATJAX Chutneys, Farrie’s Asian Treats, Riz’s Cupcakes, Pieroth Wine, White Heat Wood Fired Pizza, The Fragrant Frog, Manuka Honey Club, Olives, Toast and Love is Churros. This year too, we have added more activities for children with a funfair, free crafting in the Library and Market and free face painting also in the Market. There will be lots for people to do, listen to, smell and taste!”
In addition, cottages.com, the main sponsor of the Colne Grand Prix on 26th July, will be launching an Instagram Frame competition to win a free holiday.
