Here is a small selection of the painted eggs that Colne’s infant and primary school children have prepared for our Easter competition. We have 1,613 entries in total and they will be staged on the first floor of the Library on Easter trees. Judging takes place on Saturday morning, but the eggs will be available for viewing during the following week. we have some very inventive entries. As well as traditional chicks and bunnies, we have sheep and even the cast of The Simpsons!
Children from Mrs. Agnew’s class in Christ Church Infants were interviewed by 2BR Radio earlier in the week and they will be featured on both Good Friday and Easter Saturday.
