Vandals have caused damaged to the lovely sign at your newly renovated West Street playground. After all the hard work and time put in by Colne Town Council and the contractors who we work alongside we are absolutely devastated to have discovered this on a site visit.
Colne Town Council’s Town Clerk, Naomi Crewe said, “The damaged caused to the new sign at the first of the playgrounds being worked on, in the development project in Colne has appalled us and is going to add extra costs to get the damaged sign removed and replaced. We have some brilliant facilities in Colne and I don’t understand why anyone would want to damage what we have.”
