COLNE Town Council’s Events Committee plans to publish an Events Calendar for the first time to distribute to every household in Colne. It will include not just events put on by the Town Council, but also, regular events in the Town’s Calendar, such as the Gala and the Great British Rhythm and Blues Festival.
Events Committee Chairman, Ash Sutcliffe explained: “I am always hearing about people not knowing when events are on in Colne or being sad to have missed them because they are away or are working or whatever. When I became Chairman of the Town Council’s Events I was determined to produce a definitive calendar of all the major happenings in Colne throughout the year. Therefore, we are asking for everyone who runs a sizeable event to get in contact with us to ensure that their event is included.”
