OUR TOWN CENTRE

Colne’s Town Centre has changed quite a bit in recent years.  Most people think it has changed for the better. We’d like it to be even more successful and vibrant – it is Colne’s beating heart.

Policies 1 and 2 of our Draft Plan deals with the Town Centre of Colne and what we would like to do to improve it.

You can see our policies are varied, from designating a redevelopment zone to eco and landscaping policies and a ban on additional hot food takeaways.  We hope you approve and that you think that our policies will lead to Colne being an even more pleasant place to shop, work and live.
