We currently have the position of ‘Events and Administration Officer’ available.
The Events and Administration Officer (EAO) of Colne Town Council is responsible for all aspects of organising and managing Colne Town Council events and assisting with the day-to-day administration of the Town Council Office and Primet Hill Community Centre.
The successful applicant will have a proven track record in events management and administration, will be highly literate and numerate and have good IT skills (Outlook, Word, Excel). As the first point of contact for visitors, they will possess superb communication skills, an excellent telephone manner and be able to efficiently manage diaries and prioritise tasks. Working as part of the Council’s small Office, the ability to take responsibility for tasks, provide regular progress updates and meet deadlines is important.
